Music Industry Services
Pre-save and fan capture campaigns
When you interact with pre-save, follow-gate, or fan capture forms we operate (including forms hosted by us or embedded on client pages), we may collect contact and campaign data such as name, email, region, and engagement events (submission time, referral source, confirmation status). We use this data to operate the campaign, provide reporting to the artist/client, and improve campaign performance.
If a flow connects to a third-party platform (such as a DSP, link provider, analytics tool, or email platform), that platform’s privacy policy also applies.
Artist submissions and materials
If you submit music, demos, press photos, EPKs, metadata, or other materials, we may store and review that content for evaluation, communications, and operational needs. We do not claim ownership of submitted creative works. Do not submit confidential information you do not want stored or reviewed.
EAR Distro (distribution services)
For distribution-related services, we may collect information needed to deliver releases and reporting, such as legal name/business name, release metadata (ISRC/UPC, contributors, splits, territories), and performance/reporting data received from partners. If payouts are enabled, additional payment and tax details may be required. Distribution partners, DSPs, and payment providers process data under their own policies.
EAR Online (artist/client websites)
When we build or manage websites for clients, we may process information collected through those sites depending on enabled features, including contact form submissions, email signups, orders, and analytics events. In many cases, the artist/client is the primary owner of audience data for their site, and we act as a service provider to operate the website.
EAR Amplify (advertising services)
When we run ads for clients, we may process campaign-related data such as ad account identifiers, pixel/event data, conversion signals, and performance analytics (impressions, clicks, cost metrics). We use this data to set up, measure, optimize campaigns, and provide reporting. Advertising platforms process data under their own terms and policies.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain site functionality, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and support measurement for advertising where enabled. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide services, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and service.
