With that said, putting on these earbuds can take some time to get used to, as their custom design is quite sensitive to touch placement. In some scenarios, our tests indicated it took a few tries to get the right fit with these earbuds, in addition to a microphone whine if holding the earbuds the wrong way, and unintentionally changing the noise-canceling mode.

On the other hand, these headphones were very bass heavy for our tastes out of the box. While this may be a benefit to many users, we preferred turning the bass down on these earbuds.

Callers would complain they could not hear the speaker, and calls would sound muffled. In some cases, removing the headphones entirely was the only option to continue the call. In other instances, physical activity was a perfect match for the SPACE A40 earbuds, as they did not fall out while working out, running, walking, or traveling, and stayed comfortable the whole time.
